Is Z.O.E worth buying?
« on: March 25, 2001, 10:15:58 AM »
Other than the MGS2 demo (which is alone worth $50) is the game that great? What kind of game is it like? Is it hard? I\'m a big Transformers fan, will I enjoy it then?  HELP! I GOT 5 MORE DAYS TO DECIDE!!!

Are you insane! I love her character, she stays.
\"The only thing loves done is put you in this position, I say kill her off!\"
Yeah, but you say a lot of things..
and how does that work....  You\'re a bicycle..

You know it\'s funny, no matter how many times people on message boards tell me to buy ZoE... I still think it\'s going to be the next Bouncer.  Mabey I just don\'t like short games that are somewhat repetative.  Mabey it\'s just that it reminds me of my least favorite game of all time, Zombie Revenge, with 6x better graphics, theme, story, and length...  6 times... does that make it a good game?  I don\'t know.  Anyways, I don\'t plan on buying ZoE when it comes out, and I\'ll rent it first, hopefully with the MGS2 demo.  My fav mech game is VOOT because of the very original gameplay...  Can anyone tell me what makes ZoE better than the Bouncer without saying stuff like \'just buy it\'?

Interesting Story, many moves to master, original battle fight system(Its really great to watch also. Its like watching a manga movie),mech getting more advanced as you progress, backround interactivity(not limited like the bouncer\'s.You should be carefull not to destroy populated buildings and surroundings though),not completely linear(there are some choices in the game),90% of the game is playable(unlike bouncer which has limited gameplay and tons of FMV\'s).

Thats all I could think of for now.Its 12:30 in my country and I feel sleepy.
Why dont you check some reviews to find more about the game?(WHATEVER YOU DO DONT TRUST DAILY RADAR\'S.)

I completed the game today, and i did not get bored one bit,i really like the game,i am going to play through it on hard tomorrow.
If anything i really didnt want it to finsh,i really think you will like it,you can have different endings(that is what i have heard),depending on how you did in the game, also the better you do in the game, the better ADA gets, she learn more human emotions.
It is worth the money.

"WHATEVER YOU DO DONT TRUST DAILY RADAR\'S.)"

Why did you say that? Because DR gave it a bad review? So what... nothing is perfect, you shouldn\'t tell sumone not to read a review or sumthing b/c it could help them in making a decesion. He could not read it adn then not like the game.. wasting $50. But if he reads it and he doesn\' buy the game, then he keeps his money. just becasue you dont agree with sumthing you shouldn\'t convice other people to disagree too.

i can\'t say myself since it\'s not out in the U.S. yet  but i\'m really anticipating it knowing the maker of MGS2 had a big hand with it and also to get MGS2 demo as a bonus :)

Hmmm... well you\'ve managed to get me somewhat more interested, I have already read many reviews of it, including Daily Radar UK\'s, heh...  it is interesting that you mention things that Daily Radar UK never brought up, which does discredit them a little...  Still not sure if I\'ll mabey just pick the game up when it comes out and take it back if I really don\'t like it, my other real option is getting some classic SNES games.  *considering*

Yup
Ethan hit the nail right on the head, this game is a must buy, i bought it last week nd have not regreted it at all.

the only down side is the games length, but i have to say that like Ethan i am also playing it  a second time on hard, and it\'s like i am playing it for the first time.

Well Done Konami

Plus the MGS2 Demo is more than enought reason to buy it, even if you don\'t like the PSX version, Give this one a try it\'s for free after all :D.
