More games tested! This time Oni and Type S. My thoughts.

Simchoy here with his short, very short impressions of Oni and Type S (don\'t worry, both rented from Blockbuster). I don\'t have the most extensive impressions since I can\'t play the system a lot (partly because its my brother, and the fact that I have school work to worry about). Anyways,  here is my thoughts...

Oni. Oni had some nice CGI (at least the opening scene). But the controls, I found them annoying. The graphics, not the best I have seen (Bouncer, with its flaws, looked better then this game). The two analog stick control is interesting at least, but found it hard to control. Again, not a lot of time to "explore" the game much, so it could be better then what I think it is right now, but again, work, work, work, can\'t play for too long. Even if its school work, its still work. Anyways, thats my little impression.

Type S. What a crappy game. Shimmering and jaggies? This game is the example all anti-PS2 fanboys would turn too. Man, the background is so annoying, it took away from the actual racing. As for the racing itself, not that bad, but that control issue, still there (though I heard the US version is easier to control then the Japanese version). I spun out on two turns, in my first race. I might be able to get used to it if I played it more, so, my impression of the controls is, not as bad as I thought. However, looking at the soon to be released GT3 (hopefully), Type S graphics don\'t hold a candle to this game, and wouldn\'t mind not playing this game agian, ever.

Oh, and DDaryl, the reason why my brother got Bouncer as well as SSX (from my last post)? Its an online purchase. One of those package deals. Just so you know.
