Fighting game based on Horror Characters from the movies.......What do you think???

I was just thinking and an idea popped into my head about some company like Namco or Capcom making a fighting game based on Horror characters from the movies. I know it would probably be next to impossible because of the copyrights and lincenses but just imagine the possibilities. Jason vs Freddy, Michael Myers vs Chucky, Exorcist vs Pinhead ect. The stages could be taken directly from the movies themselves like Camp Crystal Lake, Freddy\'s Dream House, Exorcist bedroom ect. You could have the option of playing with weapons on/off ex. Freddy\'s glove, Jason\'s ax, Michael Myers kitchen knife, Leatherface chainsaw, or Exorcist w/mid powers. there would be fatalities like Chucky laying over you preparing to take your soul like in the movie, Freddy shreding you to pieces with his glove, Exorcist possesing you ect. could even include a tag option like in MVC2 or TTT. there would be secret characters you could unlock like the old Horror movie characters such as Dracula, wolfman, Mummy. Different costumes, stages, weapons ect. I know many of you will probably say this sound like Darkstalkers for the Ps but it\'s just an idea that i wish someone could pickup and turn it into a real game. do any of you have any ideas that would make a good game based on movies or anything else. Let me know what you think. :burn:

I was thinking about a game featuring fighters from SC,Tekken,VF,FV,Bloody roar,etc like Fighters Megamix.

As Sega is third-party now, maybe they will create a remake of Fighter\'s Megamix for PS 2!

P.S.
Some sort of zombie should also be a character inside of the horror-beat\'em up!

I saw the original Nightmare on Elm street on Acid. I thought it was going to be a cheesy movie. I left the lights on that night. Not only that but we had to cut though the cemetery to get home after the movie still flying.

i think it would be a great idea for some company to to that..just think of the characters that would be in it and you could pick who you wanted to be..

I dont think it would work.

There was Nightmare on Elm St on pc and Halloween on the Atari 2600. Both were pretty lame. But hey, it would be cool with todays technology to control one of the legends of horror.
