well, it called the evolution of a playstation
, it takes time to deveope for the PS2, alll the first launch titles were created fast and and carelesly, they didnt take advantage of any of the PS2 features, all the games looked like a little improved DC games, they didnt even use the vector units. now the games the recent games that are being made have had thier time, developers learned from the first games and tried to actually pump some power out, but now they have supassed the difficulty are using the vector units, they are taking the EE to the level it was created to show.
all the games i have seen so far i think are still first gen MGS2 is about 1st and 3/4 gen and maybe FFX is the second gen game weve been waiting for, it uses even more feature we have yet to see in action such a texture streaming, we still have long way to go until the PS3 is released and to already say that the secon gen game has arrived in my opinion is to early, PS2 is now starting to actually show its potential, and we have yet to see the final product.. the 4 gen game wich will blow our minds
