Grandia II Hits PS2 In 2001?
"According to reliable employees of the Babbage\'s/Gamestop retail chain, a PlayStation 2 version of Grandia II is now in their chain database with a release date of December 17, 2001. No publisher is indicated as yet (the obvious guess, however, would be Ubi Soft), and that date is probably as reliable as any retail release (not very), but it looks like Game Arts\' stellar 3D RPG may be on its way to another platform nonetheless. We\'ll keep an eye out for further information".

This doesn\'t do me much good I have the dc version and its an awesome rpg one of the best ever!!!!  The only thing I\'m wonder is how are the textures going to be on the ps2 version?  I would like to know how both version compare when its comes out.

If we can play Grandia 2 in our Playstations 2, the game will be great sure, perhaps better than DC version ;)

The game is very good.  I wouldn\'t say the best, that title is for Skies of Arcadia:D, I just never got use to the CG spells.  

Maybe they will be realtime on the PS2?!  The story is great, and the game is absolutely gorgeous.  And it has Millenia, you\'ll love her!!

this would be a Sega game that I will be interested in.

so far not much from Sega has been announced for the PS2 that interests me. But I know Sega hasn\'t begun to announce its PS2 titles yet. There was an interview in PSM with Sega USA and they we\'re saying that the PS2 will get the bulk of attention this 1st year or 2 of Segas 3rd party lfe do to the fact the PS2 willhave the larger userbase.


So hopefully SKies of Arcadia will make the jump as well along with PSO

Grandia 2 is the best RPG ever IMO. It has by far the best game play( no random battles and extremely weird but amusing fights) and an awesome story line. Its a MUST OWN for RGP fanatics. MUST OWN.

My post isn\'t really on topic but I just wanted to express my feelings for this magnificant game. :D

I\'m gonna stray a little OT....

First. Whooohoooo!!!! for G2!!!!!

Second. Damn, looks like this fall we will be swamped with PS2 Rpg\'s. Couldn\'t they release some in the sommer. I mean, there will be like 10 between October and December. .....say hello to my Visa bill...:)

You guys have to buy Grandia 2!  I have it for Dreamcast and it\'s awesome!  I won\'t pick it up because it\'s going to be identical to the Dreamcast version.  It\'s not as good as Skies Of Arcadia but it\'s right up there.  Excellent graphics, the story isn\'t as good as it should be, but the gameplay more than makes up for it.  A must have for RPG freaks.
