Why doesn\'t SONY market Widecreen TV in the US?
« on: April 13, 2001, 06:23:28 AM »
Has anyone seen the widescreen WEGAs that sell in the UK?  They look awesome!  I tried looking stateside for the same WEGA line, and found nothing.

Here\'s a link to one of them

I just don\'t see why SONY wouldn\'t have these available in the US.  All we have is the 4:3 WEGAs.  Does anyone know if there are plans to bring these to the US?

Those are a bit old, Sony has some other really cool widescreen CRT TV\'s here in Europe. I don\'t think the US buys many of them.... you guys are more into rearprojection and stuff. :)
