MGS2 Scores.......

Hey everybody, have you put in your codes online? I have...... My highest is 68193, I was set on Easy mode with type 1 radar......... Everybody....... What\'s your ultimate score? I just want to see how I match up.....

i\'ll name everything important

1.the faster you get done the better the score
2.dont shoot at everything you see, you\'ll lose points
3.its really important dont get spotted and dont use any continues or you\'ll lose major points
4.if its anything like the MGS on psone, then the more guys you kill the less points you get so be sneaky

I\'ve been having probs getting my codes put online so I\'ll help everyone out....... Go to http://www.konami.com then click the top link and then click on MGS2 and put on your code....... just helping some people out who don\'t know how to do that..

I got about 90000 on hard without a radar.   Using no radar gives you a bunch of extra points, but you will have to play the level a bunch of times till you know exactly where everybody is.  I\'m working on a 2-3 minute solution on the hardest difficulty.  So far, I\'ve gotten my infiltration into the ship down pat, with one shot fired (at the second guard you see), but It gets really hard, cause there are actually waaaaay more guys, and you have NO radar at all (not even the option for one).  I\'ve done it a few times, but always with continues *you can\'t be seen*.

I stopped trying to get the high score a couple weeks ago.  But just a few tips that might be able to help you out (On hard difficulty):
Don\'t use any ammo until the end girl.  You should only use four bullets total.
Don\'t stop!  You can pretty much run the whole time without stopping for anything (except for opening the metal doors).  If you are stopping, you are doing it wrong.
When going up the stairs into a new area (on level b, c, and d I think), you can do the roll move and you will jump up the stairs really fast.  This saves a lot of time.

My fastest time was like 1:19 (I think?)  I had a score of something around 93000.  I used to be in second place in North America, but then I stopped playing and people passed me up.  Now I\'m in around 10th place.

I just played mgs2 5 mins ago and I just sent in my code and my score is 89889 on Easy mode with type 2 radar, I was a flying fox.

a lot of people say they just run through the whole game on normal mode without shooting at all....... I think it would be hard on the level in the bar and magazines and the level with the two gaurds near the laser-bomb things...

I got over trying to beat the Chinese dudes score. 1:54 on very hard. I cant do that.

I\'m thinking that the Chinese/Japanese have a different copy than us and they can skip the girl talking movies during the end battle.  There is no way it\'s possible to go that fast!
