Right you lot, this is the first general meeting of the formation of our Clan, for thoughts of you wondering why we are discussing this at an early stage, well I feel we can start to get things organized.

Ok First on to what to call ourselves

Here are some of the subjections that we could use.

PSX2 Central Elite
Son and Daughters of Big BOSS
PSX2 Team Bio-Hazard

But if you have ideas then please post them here.


Ok on to how to run this, the first thing is to see if we could set up a new sub forum with in our site (Online Gaming for example), this should be for online threads as well as Clan announcements and other similar subjects. To be honest I can see this new forum being very valuable for members of the clan to keep in touch, as well as offering forum members a chance to meet each other on a given time or date.

For example this could be used for members to organize an on line get together in Final Fantasy 11.

Or

It could be used for Clan members to find out the details of the next Clan Ladder battle or Practice.

Also this forum can be used for general online gaming chat and we could expect to see a lot of talk about the next Final Fantasy game as well as a possible conversion of PSO from SEGA.

Another addition we could include could be a private chat room, this can be used for pre match talk and strategy, Also the server IP number and Password can also be distributed, with out the fear of non clan members gaining the access to the server.

For this to work we have to keep in touch either by ICQ or AIM, if for any reason a member can not make a game or practice then it should be the responsibility of that member to inform the leader (that way we can get a replacement if it is a team battle).

Anyway everything depends on type and quantity of on line games that will be available for the PS2.

We should at least know some of the games by the time E3 comes.

But until then we could start to have a rough guide to how many people are interested and on what games they would most like to play online.

Ok so that’s about it for the first Forum Clan News UPDATE

Until we get positive proof of what games will be online compatible we can just prepare. The only Exception to this rule for the moment is FINAL FANTASY 11 so until we hear any news of other online games we should start to get a FF 11 Clan ready.

Anyway that’s enough of me, I think it’s over to you lot and your ideas

Isnt is obiously that the clan is a ps2 clan? PS2 should not be in the name (IMO).

The clan-idea is good as it is - no matter what game we play.

But it\'ll be one helluva cool time playing FFXI on internet - and it will add to the lifespan of this forum :)

i can thorw out a whole bunch of awesome clan names:

AOT = always on top " like this one"

WHC = wicked habits clan

YLB = your last breath

TTP = the third place

i really like clans with 3 lettersin them not big ass names, these are the best names in this thread, who agrees?

oh and i would play basically anything on-line but it would be cool to play RPG

Well I voted for "PSX2 Central Elite" (cause I thought that one up) and I\'m happy to see some people liked that name. :)
Although "The Third Clan" sounds cool too, it doesn\'t really make much sense.
