I say wait for the Bitboys XBA...it will be here around 3Q/4Q 2001..the specs?

FULL DX8 support
30million transistors for LOGIC alone
SDRAM..DDR..SGRAM models(64MB on-board)


This pretty much destroys the Geforce3 in every imaginable way...and is does not cost 600..or 500..or 400 dollars..maybe not even past 300 dollars;)

go ahead and laugh all you want..bitboys are real.

Yassam is also the same person who said the Xchip is a "GENERATION" ahead of the geforce3..:laughing: please...;)

i expect the price to be NO MORE than 350...with some "extra" stuff in the box?...full version of MaxPayne anyone? :D(this is a rumor so don\'t take as fact;))

ohh well for those who are interested,The Kyro 3 has been announced T&L baby :D.
And alot of people are pissed of at nVidia right now after they saw the leaked PDF file where nVidia was BSing the Kyro.
And the Bitboys should only be considered vapourware.They always talk about that they have the most powerful chip but they can never backup their claims.
And Clyde after 3Dfx sold their SLI technoligy to Quantum (I think that was the name of the company) they did an experiment and beefed up the Voodoo.5 6000,instead of the 6 VSA100 chips on the V5.6000 they put 8 :eek:

Not to break Clyde\'s heart, I don\'t think Voodoo 5 6000 would have held a light to GF2 Ultra or the almighty GeForce 3. Maybe in image quality, but performance wise, they would have to make their technical team who do drivers work double duty just to get HSR up to the perfection mark.
