Gohan, I think he was pissed because this thread was about football (or "soccer") and suddenly it\'s about American football and whatnot. If you don\'t like football ("soccer") then feel free to not post in this thread. Just don\'t make it about "soccer is crap, (American) football rules".

This is going to happen no matter what the thread is about. The fact that they can remain "relatively" anonymous gives a lot of the youngins that post here a false sense of power. So they like to be tough guys cuz we can\'t see them for the frail girly-men that they are.

BTW, This is not directed at anyone it is just an observation.

Hey when I was living in Germany I went to a couple Fussball games, so I guess my favorite team is

VfB Stuttgart [ http://www.vfb-stuttgart.de ]

They had some very rowdy fans I can tell you.  Sometimes I can\'t believe how popular football is everywhere but here in the US.  I mean so many vastly different cultures all playing the same game, it\'s weird when you think about it.

I was watching one of the spanish language channels here in Los Angeles and they were running some FUTBOL match from South America, and it was in one of the biggest arenas I\'ve ever seen.  EVERY SEAT WAS FILLED!  Must have been like 100,000 or more people there.  I don\'t think you\'d find dedication like that in the US except maybe at the Superbowl.

By the way my real sports love is basketball.  My team is the PHOENIX SUNS.  From the Madhouse on McDowell to the Purple Palace, the Suns fans in Phoenix can never be surpassed.  Oh yeah they\'ll win a championship one of these times...  grrrrrrr

Yeah we have but they are mostly national teams.
For SCOTLAND we have the Scottish Claymores.

i actualy went to one match a couple of years ago and enjoyed  very very much it.

haventbeen back because tickest cost a fortune :( :crying:.

I dont really know what is so fascinating about soccer(or football). It might be fun to watch one in life but not on TV. I cant stand it. To me its just like the way the Simpsons put it.

haa haaaaa haaaaa, the manc scum lost last night, they are so crap in europe. i think the reason they have won the premiship so easily this year and last is because the teams were all scared of there name because they done the treble, teams would go out, and have lost before they have even played, teams that have taken the game to them have had good games, all may not have won, but teams have, just take liverpool, they beat them twice this season and the second time they totally out classed them, im not just saying this because i support liverpool, its because they really did. teams in europe have are not scared and you see how well they did against them even teams that arent that good, no offence if you support them, but there are not the best team in the world, psv, thay were afraid and thay deserrved to win, even coventry the other day, o.k they lost, but they tried so hard and scored a few goals, with a bit more luck they could of won.

United are on there way down :D

Lavan, hes still on the Fires roster page so I guess hes still on the team.

I dont really know how theyll do this year though. I just get no real felling from them, good or bad ya know.
They\'ve only played 2 games and they are 1-0-1 so I guess we\'ll just see.
