well my friends and I at work have played doa2 since it came out of dc, and we\'ve probably played 1 hour a day on _average_, counting the many times we\'ve stayed till 3 am...
The character I mastered was Ein, he is as fast and more powerful than jan lee. He has fast highs, mids, and lows, and you can juggle people quickly with his back kick. A kick combo against a wall can do 100+ damage. Most people\'s combos with the wally do 80 pts of damage. His super wall throw and karate chop are extremely devestating when you try and counter against him as well. I got so good at him that nobody could believe I had skill. Even the fact that nobody else at the office is any good with him will convince them. Since I didn\'t get many votes, this poll probably won\'t convince them. Singlehandedly with ein/jan lee there is nobody at the office who can take me. Now I know i\'m going to have to go back that up if any of them read this (there are some pretty good people here)
I\'m pretty good with jan lee, but most of his fast moves are high, and many ducking mid moves (ayane and lei-fang have a ton of them) will interrupt any move he does.
The flying kick can be ducked, and you can take down jan lee with a ducking strategy. He has very long pauses after all his power moves. We figured that most people here would vote for him though, because at first, he was extremely cheap. His infinite throw combo and flying kick really got people around here bitter.
I personally voted for lei-fang, because she is confusing as hell (many mid/low/high mixups in "poses") and is extremely damaging, as well as having an excellent ducking strategy. And brutal throws.
We\'ve pretty much reduced the game down to only using a handful of moves for each character, or you will die in 10 seconds.
