David Hayter to return to MGS2---Confirmed!!!

YeAhhhh!!!  Snake will not be Snake with out his voice!!  What did Konami pay him, to come back?  

A whole bunch I\'m guessing. But believe you me, they will earn it back. They will earn millions off this game! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My only worry is how they manage to work out the lip synch. Anyone who\'s seen Z.O.E knows it subtracts from the immersion into the game if you can hear characters speaking while they\'re smirking like idiots with their mouths closed. In MGS this didn\'t matter because the characters\' mouths were represented by about 11 big chunky pixels. Here\'s to hoping...

Believe it or not, there is someone who hasn\'t played MGS yet... ME!  If I want to play it, I guess I have a choice:

Should I get the PSX version or the PC version?  I\'m leaning toward the PC for obvious reasons.  Does anyone know of any advantage the PSX version may have?

If Hawke can do a backflip I\'ll do 10,000 Super Tornado Frontflips. God I am ecstatic. I have always had high hopes for MGS2 but the only thing holding me back was the fact that Hayter wasn\'t gonna do Snake\'s voice. Now I am relieved beyond belief. Hayter is doing the voice, and I am sooooooooooooo f*cking happy!

Coredweller, I\'d get the PSX version, which is the true original version. I really wouldn\'t care for sharper graphics (which are quite bland for a PC game) in exchange for the PSX pad and the chance to play comfortably from your favourite sofa/whatever. Or if you have the newer Gravis gamepad or a PC adaptor for a PSX controller, go ahead

And yeah, the PSX version is probably dirt cheap right now, go get yours now, you won\'t regret it (though, there are some people who don\'t like the game. 4 of them I think).

Coredweller, Psx version of metal gear solid is very cheap and more convinent on a tv with controller pad

The pc version has sharper graphics, costs more, BUT has the Mgs VR missions which is a sony playstation add-on! Although you probably MUST by a pc gamepad..

I\'d say psx version..

Sweet! Snakes voice from MGS1 was awesome. Glad to know that David Hayter will be returning as the voice for Snake.

no she\'s not 60 year old ,she about 24ish (I guess) but the intersting thing is is that when people ask kojima about the meryl thing, he says, She may or may not be dead. he is dancing all around it, if she was dead than it would be easier just to say that she\'s dead!..why go through all the trouble?....I think she may be put into a cyrosleep at the end of MGS2, so she would appear young and healthy in Policenauts. Or....MGs2 will folow two story lines, one after the good ending (with meryl alive) and one after the bad ending with meryl dead. Hence the she "may or may not be dead" see the word "may" tells a lot .....huh?

I hope she\'s dead and stays that way. She never had any proper role in MGS, why now in the sequel? You really need her back dontcha...
