I don\'t know if i am repeating anybody but i just wanted to inform you... That Gran Turismo 3 is finnally complete and will be realeased on April 28th in Japan. There is no word yet on the american release date but i would expect sometime in May or June. Also released this week is information on an upcoming Gran Turismo game set to have internet multiplayer functions. No word on whether the game is completly different than the current Gran Turismo game or just the same game with the on-line functions. I would expect some more information to be released in may during the E3 expo in L.A. For pre-order you can visit Gamestop.com or Ebgames.com

""Producer Kazunori Yamauchi stated that the next step in GT\'s evolution will be a network version, allowing online competition via a service called "GTN." Seemingly similar to Square\'s plans for its PlayOnline service, GTN will include information and e-commerce features to accompany online racing!""

Your PS2 although not ready to go on-line out of the box will have an ethernet modem available sometime within the next year. I would guess that the modem would cost around $60-$120, and will allow you to hook-up to any LAN(Local Area Network) you already have(DSL or Cablemodem). The modem is suppose to be able to be hooked up in to your PS2 from the back you will see an expansion slot. I am not quite sure if the modem will also be the HDD drive which will allow you to download stuff onto it. If Modem is not seperate expect cost\'s to be much higher.

If it\'s better looking than the weak demo, I\'ll pick it up.

Weak demo??? Man you are hard to please. The demo is pretty bloody nice, nearly as nice as being rubbed down with baby oil by a dozen Playboy models, well nearly :D

bit of a techie question here :) but you say it will have an ethernet card, dont suppose i could plug it into hub, or onto a bnc network cable and route it from my pcs net connection?
