Baulders Gate ps2 game

I was just browsing through some of the games on the ign site release calender and saw baulders gate. I watched the trailer video and found out you can go thorough it with two players

This game looks like it can be promising

What are your guys thoughts? anyone else thinking of getting it?

Personally, I\'ll get it, but on PC.  I prefer my mouse over the stick for things like the battle control system.  It\'s a lot of micromanagement if you have to do it with the controller.

Well it looks definatly pretty good, i like the idea of a two person mode going through it




The analog might take sometime to get use to but im sure i could get the hang of it pretty fast

Are you sure that it wont support mouse and keyboard?

I prefer the DS2. I sit on my couch, and usually the dogs are hopping all over to boot. A key and mouse would be very impractical.

yea i like the game - it looks great and i don\'t think it will be hard to play with a controller - although i prefer controllers over mouses and keyboards anyday

Can you play it online?
I think no but it would be cool

I am looking forward to it. The big aspect that I like about the two player feature is when your players walk away from each other the screen zooms out. It does not stop you when you hit the side of the screen. It is siad to zoom to a degree that you wouldn\'t want to be away from you partner. Thats some distance.

And I do believe this is a PS2 Only title.

Well my only concern would be not understanding the story as well. I havent played both pc versions of the game and i think this one is suppose to be the third chapter

 Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance is a PS2 only game. The engine is built from the ground up to play on the PS2  and will be tuned for console gaming. The interfaces and the gameplay will be enhanced for the PS2 and the DS


the game is my most anticiapted RPG for the PS2 just ahead of FFX.

It looks fantastic and its a non Japanese RPG based on D&D

Yeah, I\'m looking forward to this game more than FFX too. (But I still really want FFX )

I\'ll be buying a PS2 because of it.

Ahead of FFX? Yes but only because it will release about 2 mounths earlier.

This game is on my purchase list.

I was always meaning to play BG on the PC but never got round to it, but now I can enjoy it on my telly instead.
