I thought I might be the first to bring up that Metal Gear Solid 2 demo in ZOE. If that dosn\'t interest you then Crazy Taxi all the way

I would go with ZOE.  What I\'ve seen of crazy taxi hasn\'t impressed me that much (no I haven\'t played it), but I own ZOE, and am very happy with it and the MGS2 demo.  I\'m on my second run through ZOE - hardest difficulty, trying for a perfect set of report cards, it\'s nigh impossible, but still really fun.  On easier levels the game can be finished in 4-5 hours, but it\'s still great.  As for MGS2 - I still spend hours just messin\' around, trying to find new things, and enjoying the breathtaking amount of detail in the game.

I recently borrowed a Dreamcast and played Crazy Taxi for about a week. In that time I had got high scores on both levels and had completed Crazy Box. That was basically the whole game completed.

However because it is an Arcade game you will want to play it again and again every now and then.

As for ZOE I wasn\'t impressed by that game at all.

Also read some reviews of CT on the dreamcast, the PS2 should be the same.

I recorn you should go for Crazy Taxi. It will probably last you a lot longer than ZOE in the long run.

Did OPS2 comment on frame rate / graphics ?

Actually I find OPS2 to award games very highly so 8/10 may not been great but should still be good :).

ZOE, I love using burst attack and moving around the enemy\'s real fast and then when they swing their arms they miss and I attack them from behind..... Crazy Taxi just seems like another Driver game... Only cooler... :D
.... take the skin and peel and back...

now doesn\'t it make you feel better?

Ok looking at the graphics the game looks on par with the DC,some shots look sharper, they look alot better then the ones that some one post on the forum last week i think.

Here is a quote from the review that got me.

"The game engine you\'re looking at has very little in common with the version that graced the Dreamcast.Yet, suprisingly enough,it\'s virtually indistinguishable.
The ps2 developers had very little access to the DC code and had to make do with essentially copying what they had played.

I am going to have to see what it is like now.

Here is what they said about the overall game.

Graphics:   Getting old but still dazzling
Sound:       Thumping soundtrack,very nice.
Gameplay:  Daft as a brush with wee bit of depth
Life span:   High reply value, but weak in the long term

So there it is hope it helps you out.

I have Crazy Taxi for Dreamcast and it\'s an excellent game!  I kinda wish the PS2 version would be totally different than the Dreamcast version.  I bought it when it on the day it was released and I still play it today!  Something about that game makes me want to keep playing and try earning more money and beat my high score.  If the PS2 version runs like the Dreamcast version you guys should realy consider buying this game.  I can\'t wait for the sequel for Dreamcast, but I\'m not sure if it\'s coming out for PS2.  Zombie\'s Revenge is another game I love to play.  If you like arcade games you should look into this game as well since is coming to PS2.

Thanks for the info ethan. Im looking forward to seeing this game. :)

Im also interested in Zombie Revenge, its the closest type game to the Streets of Rage genre (excluding the poor / average "The Bouncer").
