Make sure you twink out your connection as much as possible, first thing.  I used to get about 30k/s with my cable.  Then I twinked it out, now I get 60-100k/s.  If I use a multistreamer, I generally get 150-350k/s.  Take the time to really fix up your registry settings for BB.

Ah - another DSL-owner signing in...

But it\'s still quite slow - only 256k - but fast enough for me anyways :)

I hated my 56k, and I certainly hated my 36.6k...

Hey FatalX, nice link:) Currently with my DSL I d/l at about 40Kbps(avg) will those tweeks improve that speed?

First I was afraid opening that thread,  I thought you were about to show a pic of your "little friend". :D

In 4-5 months I will be on DSL too - can`t wait to hook up my PS2 with it..

Well, I have DSL too. I thank God for that every day because I\'m an Internet addict and I didn\'t have flatrate when I used dial-up (oh, the horror!). :)

That site will speed everything up.  It takes a lot of reading, unless you want to make your connection overly favor downloading over streaming or gaming.  Either way, it will improve all your speeds if you run the reg edits (or do them yourself).
