You said it. And what makes it so? Could it be the general lack of clipping & tearing? I mean, this is a tight graphical game!!! Could it be the light sourcing? Shade, sun through trees, shadows from a full moon...fantastic. How \'bout the physics? Inadvertantly flip a quad over & watch how it tumbles. It doesn\'t just spin on a "z" axis through the center of the vehicle (as though it were on a spit on a bar-b-cue)...no...that\'d be cheap like oh so many other games... Instead, the bike actually tumbles: bouncing off the tires, slamming on the handlebars, tipping left front fender over right rear and then banging down on another tire & pitching off in another direction. Or how \'bout the crumpling racers that hit the ground grabbing their jewels & groaning oh so perfectly when they smack their silly a$$e$ into a mogel. Face it; its got ALL the right things that make the game seemlessly "kinda real in a way".
