The Spurs?

Who thinks the spurs are going to win the NBA?

I dont think so. The Lakers are playing to well now. It\'s going to be a Lakers - Bucks final.

Thats right. The BUCKS!!!!!!

They will upset the Sixres and the Bucks have been beating all the top teams in the west all season.

Ray Allen - Finals MVP!!!!!

Allen Iverson - MVP

The Jazz are going all the way! :)  Just one more game until they have swept the Mavricks, then it\'s on to the Spurs.  The Spurs won\'t get past the next round. :p

Huh?

Spurs are doomed.  They are as weak under pressure now as they always have been, and I see no surprises out of them.  They will defeat Utah easily, but that\'s not much of an accomplishment.

Phoenix will smack Sacramento for another embarrasing first round exit, and then they in turn will fall to the Lakers in 6 games.

Lakers will face Spurs in the western conference finals, and the Spurs will fold like a tortilla.  Favorable officiating and a few private words from David Stern will greatly assist Los Angeles in advancing to the finals once again.

Beyond that I have no idea, and who cares.  I hope Milwaukee or Indiana beats the hell out of them.

I would love to see the small market Bucks win this thing

I always pull for a small market team if they have a legitimate shot

Go Sabres

You sure do seem confident that the Spurs will beat the Jazz.  What is this based on?  The Jazz have beat the Spurs for the past couple years, and I think they will be able to do it again.

Look at their lineup.  John Crotty? Jaque Vaughn?  Olden Polynice?  Let\'s get realistic for a moment, and you try to convince me that these perennial scrubs can win anything.  The only two worthwhile players on that team are Donyell Marshall and Bryon Russell, and they average 13.6 and 12 points per game.  Not exactly earth shattering, is it?  The other starters are so old it\'s beyond funny, and they\'ve proven time and again that they can\'t withstand the pressure of a finals series (or even the W. Conf. finals).  Watching Stockton and Malone try once again to reach the finals is like watching the Rolling Stones try to scratch out another rock song.  They\'re hopeless and everyone knows it but them.  I predict a disgraceful retirement.

I agree with you that some of them are getting old.  The first playoff game, Karl Malone played one of his worst games since, well, since last years finals. :D  John Stockton is still amazing though.  He can steal just as good as ever.  He can pass better than anyone else in the NBA (IMO).  And he can still make a basket when it\'s needed.  He is carrying this team, and will carry them to victory.  Bryan Russell is great.  The guy who replaced Ostertag\'s starter position is a lot better than Ostertag (Ostertag is now a bench warmer :)).  I still think Jazz will win this time around, but we will see. :)
