yes! im so happy, i was really pissed when i found out my PC wasnt good enough to play tribes 2, well now i can save 200 bucks and just buy the PS2 version, it looks like its going to be a straight port of the PC version but they may soup it up a bit, wich would kick ass, :) they are going to reveal more aobut it at E3, here is the link:

Man its about time. I have known about Tribes 2 coming to PS2 since the game was released on PC. Can\'t wait:D

Great news - but it either needs FAR better single player experience than PC has to offer, or then it HAS to have online-play.

I have watched my friend play the game in his PC very jealously, but now I will get my opportunity!

Just think about it - psx2central CLAN playing Tribes 2 online! ( a dream wich I hope will come true... ) :)

The online-mode of Tribes 2 must be included. An offline-/splitscreen-version of the game would\'nt be as much fun.

Tribes 2 is more based on teamplay. Every Team has some sort of base and has to defend is against opposing teams. You can also use vehicles to get from one place to another. The teams also have to complete some sort of mission-tasks.

It\'s more like Halo than like Q3A/UT.

no prob bob :p, i cant believe how ironic it is, i couldnt play it for the PC cause my PC\'s video card blows, then the PS2 came to my need, and said hey, if the PC cant do i for ya then i will :)

yeah this is also great news seeing that there was no HALO for our nice PS2\'s.

my mate whos a PC geek says it\'s meant to be better than HALO anyway....

i hope he is right.

just today I turned to a channel on my direct tv system that I didn\'t know I had...... Tech channel...... they talk about games! They talked about Tribes 2 and how cool it is..... I thought it was cool lookin too....

Tribes 2 rocks (online). It doesn\'t make sense without online play. (It would be a good game for the PSX2 central clan)

i think that this will be a great game for Sony to launch it\'s online service with. It\'ll be very cool.

but the thing that bothers me is that Tribes 2 really needs a keyboard to play with. all those binds to different things that can be doen... wow... i have never imagined Tribes on a console...
