A little trick.
« on: April 30, 2001, 09:33:04 AM »
You want to lear  to do multiplication of number with a 5 in the end?
e.g 35x35=?
easy: 1225

here is the trick:
take the first number (3) and multiplicate it with itself plus one (4), that gives 12, then ad 25 to the end. and you got 1225

another one:

65x65

take the first number (6) and multiplicate it with itself plus one (7), that gives 42, then ad 25 to the end. and you got 4225

answer:4225

easy, isnt it?

like 65 x 65 is one example you used but does it work with like say 35 x 65

i am guessing not seeing how i have no time to try it out

Quick English lesson, my Swedish compadre...

It\'s MULTIPLY, not MULTIPLICATE.

Perhaps you got confused with DUPLICATE?

This is my good deed for the day. :D
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.
