GT3 Monaco with F1 cars!! Got a Video!!

YEAH, I´ve seen this video, a nd must admit, that it might be TRUE... As Polyphony doesn´t have a licence from FIA (?), it looks like those are no "real" F1 cars, but they look SUPERB !!!!!!!!

If this is a fake, than it´s done perfect...

Are those all supposed to be in game??  Cause it\'s seems like the quality goes back and forth between amazing and then less so (ie like an earlier different racing game)....  I sure hope this isn\'t fake.

BY THE WAY!  F1s do race on city streets, it\'s just rare.  In Toronto they do a "road race" on the F1s... on of the more dangerous on the tour!

They looked like old 80`s turbocharged F1 cars which i dont think the FIA has rights to. Also F1 cars dont race around the streets of Toronto, CART do. F1 races on three street tracks Melbourne, Monaco (which is in GT3) and Montreal.

The car you\'re refering to is one that races in the Le-mans 24 Hour race... if my memory serves me, Martin Brundle
used to drive one of these. The car is simply a Toyota GT1 (Me thinks)

Yes! there is F1 cars in GT3! At IGN.com Boards this what Lyhang said,  " There are definitely F1 cars in GT3. I own a copy and I\'ve found those cars selling in the car dealers...in Gran Turismo mode of course...."

The Stills looks real to me.

Sony verifies the existence of Formula One-based vehicles in Gran Turismo 3 A-spec. Details inside.

Late last night, we reported on a video of F1 cars in GT3 that was first posted on the Gran Turismo.com Forums, giving credence to previous Internet rumors to the existence of these open-wheeled vehicles in the game.

Well, today we got official confirmation from a representative of Sony Computer Entertainment America that F1 cars are in fact in Gran Turismo 3. According to the SCEA representative, there are two different Formula One-based vehicles that can be unlocked in GT3. Apparently, the F1 cars are not officially licensed but should rather be considered fantasy cars that have been designed by Polyphony Digital based on real F1 car designs of the late \'80s and early \'90s.

The Sony representative went on to say that one of the cars is yellow with a Polyphony Digital logo on it and the other is red and white. While specifics weren\'t given, the cars will be awarded to the player after winning a certain event in the game\'s simulation mode.

This is for sure the best thing i\'ve heard about gt3 in a while, I can\'t believe that they were able to keep this a secret for so long.  Normally stuff is eventually leeked, but somehow this wasn\'t...oh well, gives us something MORE to look forward to!
