What was the first ps1 and ps2 games you got and what did you think of them?????? my first ps1 game was resident evil, when i first played this i though WOW then i saw the crappy loading doors part and  i though Crap, then i saw the first zombie and BANG i fell in love with the resident evil series. They couldnt make a re game without those loading doors, its all part of the game now, it adds to the suspense. My fave of the series was the first one, i found the others way to easy, the puzzles were by far the best in the first one, who remebers those bloody doombooks, i done that (opening them) by accident, i knew what i had to do, but i thought i had to use the books, i had to start again cos i thought id missed something.

The first ps2 game i got was ssx, i loved that game, it was annoying though as i didnt have a memory card and had to keep doing all the races again:D i was impressed and still play it today

Well it was a rainy day about.....ohh first gaaaame,I see :p

Anyhoo my first psx game was Tekken,my first PS.2 game was Tekken Tag Tournament (History repeats it self)

But both times I got 2 games,the other psx game was ESPN eXtreme games,and the second Ps.2 game was SSX

first psx game = crash bandicoot
considering the only other system i had at the time was a nintendo NES the start screen for crash almost made me pee my pants. :D i was 10, and i love psx ever since.

first ps2 game played= ssx, but that was at my friends house. his brother works at best buy :D!!

the ACTUAL first one i played at my house was madden 2001. the graphics were amazing, but i already knew what it would look like, i got so d@mn exited, i bought 2 controllers a memory card, dynasty warriors2 a multi tap all before i got the console. then when i got it, i bought the vert stand it was my baby :D amazon did me well.
what really killed me was on that day i was supposed to get it,(note i was tracking it every hour using the ups groundtrack online :D) i was snowboarding, and got home late, around 6. i told my brothers that if it came, they would handle it with CARE!!! or they would die. simple as that.
those times before i had a ps2 killed me, they just almost made me go insane.

first psx game = Ridge Racer, it came with the system
First PS2 game = I bought Midnight Club and Eternal Rings at the same time.  Best Buy had a sale on Eternal Rings for only 19.99 when the system was relatively new.

I got 2 psx games: Battle arena Toshinden and Tekken
I got 2 ps2 games: Timesplitters and Tekken TAg Tournament (they didnt have my memory card tho (Bastards))

Well my first game for PSone was RR. I got it when the system came out.  That PSone system cost me $299!! Damn thats a rip off!  When i got my PS2, I got TT & RR5.  :D

Yeah my first psx game was Resident evil,i still love that game

My first game was FFVII, for the PSone, then I got a bunch of others - I didn\'t get a PSone, just a PStwo.  For PStwo it was ZOE.... what a great game!

My first PSX game was Warhawk, and I got it for free when the cashier girl mistakenly charged us the price of the PS WITHOUT RidgeRacer, when in actuality it was the one WITH ridge racer.  I played Warhawk first and my mind was ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY!!  It was incredible, and everything I had hoped it would be!!  Ridge Racer was awesome too, but not as good as WH.

My first PS2 games were NHL2001 ( I traded in my PSX for it :D ) and Timesplitters.

I first played TS, and was impressed, but, when I slipped NHL2001 into the tray--BLAM!!  I got that same feeling.  I was FLOORED.  This game to me was a graphical juggernaut.  And I had nothing else to base it on other than my PSX because my vid card and sys specs on my PC are piss-poor.  They had been slightly better than my psx.

As a side note, as an homage to my psx, the first game I ever played on my PS2 was Warhawk.  Still gives me a warm fuzzy everytime I play it.

my first PS1 game was NHL Faceoff:) LoL, I played the hell outta that one....and I (my parents) paid $299 for PS1.   my first PS2 game was madden 2001, ahh, this brings back memories of launch day...waiting in line sucks!

my first psx1 game was twisted metal 1 and i thought it kicked ass....

my first ps2 games (got 3 in one day) tekken tag, ssx, timesplitters

i thought tmesplitters sucked (wtf... a fps with no blood)

tekken - aight

ssx- i thought was one of the best games ever made untill i wore it out

Well, the first game I played for PS1 was WipEout...  I had thought for a while that the games HAD to be FMV because I didn\'t think any system could do graphics that go at the time... I was wrong... and I was stunned.  I NEEDED a PS1.  I bought a PS1 with WipEout, Toshinden, Jumping Flash, and Warhawk, and I loved them all.

With my PS2 I got TTT... latley I\'ve been thinking this may actually be my favorite PS2 game so far... since I\'m still playing it regularly after all this time.
