I finally got it! I was supposed to get it yesterday but something came up.

Most of you advised me to get ZOE but it was all sold out at the store I got it from so I got DOA2 which is the bomb. Im so happy now:):):):)

Now I just have to start saving for DVD\'s and games. This is going to cost me alot.

Let me be the first to congratulate you. :)

You should really like the PS2, its a good machine. It disapointed me in the beginning but so many good games are now coming out that im satisfied and will be more so when these games arrive in the UK.

So what games do you plan to purchase for your new machine ? :)

Hey, congrats man. Seems like everyone but me has got one by now. My cuz\'s fiancee just bought him one for his birthday last night. (Isn\'t she a sweetheart? I need a woman like that) I\'m gonna go over to his place today, help hook it up to his entertainment center, and help him decide on a what games he should buy first. Any suggestions?

Anyway, have fun with your PS2. It\'s still gonna be a few more months till I get mine.

Congratulations Vulcan !
But if all goes right the PS2 won\'t be the same again
if E3 hits. If were a bit lucky we\'ll get to see some great
games that will change the general opinion of ppl on PS2
to the better.

And remember for your new PS2 : Don\'t DROP it ! especially not from the boat ! lol :D

congratulations... i spent 3 hrs pressing the refresh button at amazon.com and my parents credit card # to get mine =) i wanted that thing soo bad...

have fun saving up for all of those great games coming out!!! GT3, twisted metal black, MGS2, Wipeout Fusion,
there are too many!!

10.01am 24/11/2001.I love it´. But there is not to many good games out in Europe yrt. I go for DVD:s now

Congrats!  You have made an excellent choice.  Oddly, I had my doubts about the PS2 for a while, but unlike a lot of others I was not disappointed at all when I first got it.  I\'m not sure what kind of games you like but here is a list of some of the games that you may want to look into buying or renting.

SSX
Gauntlet: Dark Legacy
ATV Offroad Fury
Onimusha

There are many other great titles, but I just thought I would list the four that I like best and think appeal to just about anyone who likes games.

Hi Vulcan

Glad to see that you have Your PS2.  DOA2 is a great game, it is the only game I currently own.  I have hired all the others but still find DOA2 to top them.

Hope you bought a Memory Card, if not, buy it before buying other games because you will get very frustrated not being able to save your game.  Happened to me and I don\'t want this to happen to you.
