Onimusha to me was utterly crap

I dont know how the rest of you think about this game, but i just find it like another capcom resident evil game killing monster samerai\'s mixed in with a little soul reaver

This game really didn\'t give me this hook to keep playing it.

Now, I don\'t know what kind of Crack you were smoking before you posted this but to me, Onimusha is one of the best games released on the PS2.

I haven\'t played it yet. I suppose thats what it is.

Im looking forward to getting it when its out in the UK though.

tell me one good unique quality thats good about it?
all i see onimusha to ME is good graphics thats about it

Instead of having claire from resident evil and a handgun killing zombies you got a samerai whats his name ( starts with an S ) and a sword killing samerai "zombies" and suck in there soul for health magic and upgradable points

Sorry but to me this game is crap and capcom screwed it up

So, the general opinion is that it\'s an excellent game. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Though you may think Gran Turismo series suck too.....

and gmanjoe just because i dont like a game that most people like doesnt mean im going to do it with all the games

my friends and i  rented that game and played it for about 7 hrs straight, its alot of fun...
i dont know what ur on............ but remember, when they come for you.. the men in white coats are youre friends...

I just see it as Resident Evil mixed with Soul Reaver

heck even the walking is resident evil style and you cant even use analog
it doesnt work for that game

I couldn\'t care less if it was a complete clone of Resi, SR or everything else! It\'s samurai! I\'m in love with it already though I\'ve never played it.

I thought the game was great!  The graphics and even the music scores were awesome!

This game gets an "A" from me.  It would have been an "A+" but it was too damn short!!  Arrgh!!  Seems like Capcom is thinning out its stories!

RE took me forever to figure out.  RE 2 and 3 don\'t really count \'cause I had strategy guides for \'em.

Also, this story had more of an "on rails" feel in which the story felt a little guided, with no real chance for deviation.

I have great hopes for Code: Veronica though.

I digress, Onimusha is a great game with superb graphics.  If you didn\'t enjoy it, just wait for CV, it may endear itself to you a little more.

but whats wrong if its just another resi game ? just like iss pro is just a rip off of fifa ?

Well I didn\'t say anything, but I rented it a couple weeks ago and I thought the same thing.

You swing your sword a couple times, kill the guy then take his soul.  Repeat.  Repeat.  Repeat...

Yawn....

I can\'t figure out why people like this game.
