Backwards Compatibility Monday (05-07-01)

Well, it\'s back my friends.  Only this time, you have to acess a site to see it. :)  So, here is the link and a small excerpt:

http://www.psera.com/index.cgi?type=Features;action=Display;id=000013

Metal Slug has been a time honored shooter since it was created by SNK early in the company’s life.  The series has garnered roughly 4 or so titles on home console and about 2 respective titles for pocket machines.  The series is regarded as one of the greatest shooters in existence.  Each game is pretty rough story wise consisting of numerous enemies and villains spreading across huge levels and extremely tough bosses.

Enjoy!

Ryu,

Is that the site you mentioned some time ago? I like the layout and style.

Good job Ryu. Reminds me of the days when Backwards Compatibility Mondays were just a forum thing. :crying:

Heh heh, nice job.  I can see one problem with these backwards compatibility mondays though... they make you go and get out the old games all the time...
Arghhh!  Every time you get out, the PSone games just pull ya back in!

Some time ago, I mentioned a site to be known as Gamesnext.com which would be a heavy competitor with IGN and gamespot, but ever since net companies have been folding up, (just look at dailyradar) opening up new sites, especially ones devoted to games and free content, have been a pointless prospect.  So, when in rome, I had to search elsewhere for a place to show off my talents.

Enter PSEra.

The rest as they say, is history.
