That is not possible. The PS.2\'s hardware is too different from the X-Box\'s normal x86 hardware.
The X-Box doesn\'t have the necessary memory bandwith nor does it have the vector units.
Those consoles a designed differently,MS chose conventonal hardware, and a known API,while Sony tried out something different (dynamic hardware instead of static hardware)
And Sony wouldn\'t be very happy if MS did that.
I believe it has something to do with the fact that ps2\'s pipeline something is 46gig/sec while xbox\'s is only 5.6,
Your confusing pipeline with bandwith.
The pipeline is basically how the data is processed.
For example a 4 stage pipeline would go something like this
Fetch-Store-Execute-Send
The deeper the pipeline is,the higher clock speeds the processor can reach. However the drawback of a deeper pipleline is that it takes more clock cycles to process the information so the high clock speeds aren\'t used like they would be on a processor with a lower pipeline.
(and I\'ve gone way off topic here so I\'ll stop
