Sony has revealed that a £1.5 million advertising budget will accompany the release of the stunning looking Formula One 2001 on May 25th.
Launched on the weekend of the Monaco Grand Prix, the advertising bombshell will include, television adverts, glossy publications - specifically games and mens magazines, radio adverts, online advertising, and a range of special events.
Furthermore, a direct mailshot will be sent out to registered PS2 owners with discount coupons widely rumoured for those who took the time and effort to register. See, the pre-order system wasn\'t such a dead loss after all... or was it.
