ohhhhh yyyyyeeeeeeeaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh :D

I was in cardiff, in the most expensive seats (apart from boxes) and man the game was soooooooo great,  two winning goals in the last few minutes, i had to sit in the arsenal end, but there was more liverpool supporters in there. my throat is a bit sore, from all the shouting. i got to say that it is one hell of a stadium. ill post some pics, but ill have to get them developed and scanned.

i didnt really see the "handball" incident, but i saw it on match of the day, but even though he did hand ball it i dont think it was on purpose, he was trying to get balance, as he he had his hand out ages before the shot. to be fair arsenal should have beaten us, but they couldnt finish, so it doesnt matter, as we won. even if you did get the penalty, who says you would of scored, plus the rest of the game would have been completely different, so ljungbergn may of never scored that  goal, maybe some else would of scored at a different time, players may have been sent off, you cant say you would have won if you had the penalty as the rest of the game would have been different.

And one last thing LIVERPOOL 2-1 ARSENAL

and why does Wenger keep playing grimandi, he so shi*

Ok well I was in the pub watching the match. I admit im no football supporter, I hated it at youth and only really started to support Arsenal during GCSEs. Then at college I really didn\'t take much interest. I do however support Arsenal to some extend so when I heard they were in the final I had to go and see it.

Anyway my opinion on the match. I feel robbed and cheated.

We definatly outplayed Liverpool in the first half and in the second half I think we continued to outplay them. We had many chances which we should have put away, I know we didn\'t but they still count towards the "who should have won?" question.

Also your goals were in the 80th minute, both of them, that takes skill but also a bit of luck.

The hand ball was a hand ball, whether the guy ment to or not was uncertain and going by the book he should have been sent off and a pen awarded but thats the way it goes unfortunatly. If that did happen we probably would have won but I can\'t use that as any excuse other than to say it was unfair.

I feel we should have won, infact it was very unfair to some extent, but we didn\'t finish well and you guys had quite a bit of luck.

In the end its the score which counts and you guys won. Still a good match. :D

but thats like saying man utd didnt deserve to win the champions league, b.munich out played them the whole match, then they scored in the last few minutes. i think liverpool deserved to win as the never gave up, even when one nil down, they played as hard as they could. it only takes a split second to win a match, who cares what time it comes in, thats like saying if we didnt have such a bad start we would of won. i also think it will work to arsenal advantage in time, they have got to see that the need new defenders, they may be good, but they are past there best, why does wenger insist on buying forwards when hes in dire need of a new defence, silvinho and cole are good, but the other 3 are to old, and the new players he has bought lunzhy ( i think) and the others most noticeable grimandi are crap to say the least, he needs new defenders and a decent central mifielder.

Well I didn\'t mean that. Im not saying they didn\'t deserve to win im just saying looking at it realistically, i.e the whole match not the last 10 minutes of the match we should have won, but didn\'t.

Im not trying to say Liverpool\'s win wasn\'t deserved im just saying if you were a Arsenal fan you would sure feel robbed now. ;)

I managed to see the match (it was on Pay Per View here in Canada), and what a match it was. Absolutely unbelivable. As for the handball, well the first one was marginal (the rule is hand to ball, not if the ball hits your hand), but the second one should have been  - in the end it\'s all a part of the game and these things balance themselves out over a season - we (Liverpool) got robbed on refereeing decisions earlier in the season when we lost 2-0 to Arsenal at Highbury. In the end Arsenal can only blame themselves because even without those two events they still should have scored with the ton of other chances they had, and thank God for Sami Hyypia who made THREE goal-line clearances. And of course Michael Owen with two incredible goals (and a brilliant pass from Paddy Berger for the second). That was probably the best cup final I\'ve seen in a decade.
