US release date also revealed!by - Brian Shroom Gray(7:04AM)- Capcom has revealed that their upcoming PS2 title Devil May Cry will be under a new genre titled "Gothic Action". Capcom has been at the forefront with games like Resident Evil coining the Survival Horror genre and Devil may Cry looks to be no different.
Additionally the title now has a US date set for November 2001. No exact date was given but we expect Thanksgiving week to be most likely.
Details about the types of enemies Dante will face were also revealed. These include:
-- Demonic marionettes - These low-class demons put their souls into emotionless marionettes. These creatures normally are slow but can move surprisingly fast when attacking humans.
-- Death - These beings encompass death and are similar to grim reapers. Death beings can hover in the air and travel through walls. They use over-sized scissors or a scythe as their weapons of choice.
-- Phantom - These high level demons rule all other demons in the old castle. They are huge, ugly creatures that resemble spiders with a dark aura. These creatures are more intelligent than humans and are capable of fierce magic using fire or ground-shaking power.
Finally Capcom confirmed that a playable demo will be released in the package of Resident Evil Code Veronica X.

i got abit excited and read the article wrong,i thought it was going to be "gothic action".sorry  you BIG me small,me fills like a FOOL,i am going to go and put my head in the sand.

Cheers man,for not putting a spell on me,that really would have finshed this month off for me.

Anyway i like the  main title it has anyway.Do you think thay are going to release more games under the "gothic action" title?

if they are gonna be like devil may cry (notice that this is the games name!!!), I say keep them coming (I think), but if devil may cry sells well you can bet your ass a sequel will be made
