Jak and Daxter is the long-awaited premiere title from Naughty Dog, the recently purchased first-party developer that created the ever-popular Crash Bandicoot series on PlayStation. Jak and Daxter in many ways is a departure for the team, but in many ways the game delivers classic Naughty Dog trademark game elements. Starring two main characters, Jak, the sober, humble blond-haired young boy who has yet to realize his potential, and his outrageous and daring sidekick and best friend, Daxter, a bizarre combination of what looks like an otter and a weasel, Naughty Dog\'s new game is a fully explorable 3D action-platform title. Jak and Daxter is scheduled for release in winter 2001.
