hmm... I\'d say not. It\'s possible, a lot of people considered crash to be it\'s flagship character.. but I have a feeling that Jak and Daxter won\'t be it... to be perfectly  honest I think the system could go a while before donning any mascots... but if they do, MAKE IT JIN!!

Is the game an exclusive....

I miss seeing those Crash commercials and his face on the cover of Pizza Hut.  Maybe these two new characters can do it.

Naughty Dog is owned by SOny so of course this game will remain exclusive

and yes it will very much be a mascot character. You know Sony will plug  this game hard come Christmas time

On top  of ND\'s game Insomniac should also have a platformer to show off at E3 and since they are no longer doing Spyro it will be interesting to see what they come up with

Thanks DD for the info I forgot about that, and yes I do look forward to Sony\'s new mascot to be plugged very hard in commercials, and restaurants.

Sony may plug this game, but a mascot? NO!!

Mascots are dangerous IMO. Look at Nintendo, or even Sega. You make a mascot and you end up getting pigeon holed into a particular genre (Sega=arcade), or style (Nintendo=kiddie).

No good will come of mascots. Yes, Jak and company looks like it will rock, but when the game fades and a new character comes to light lets keep moving and not get in the mascot rut.:)

....besides Lara has a better bod:D

Hmm I like the little guy.The big one is just so normal.Although from the pics I\'ve seen he looks like he\'s always pissed off,that\'s a big + in my book :)

Snake could never be a Mascot, because Sony does not own Konami, which means MGS series could go to another system at any time.

As for Jax and Daxter, I refer to them now as more of the \'unoffical mascot\' sort of like Crash was. Sony hyped Crash up tons when he was on the Psone and used him as the Mascot, but never commited to him as an offical mascot. I figure the same will happen with Jax and Daxter.
 Sony doesn\'t see a reason for a mascot with their demographic audience .
