The DVD will contain concert footage created using Enroute\'s "FirstPerson" immersive video technology, which allows for an interactive viewing experience that puts the viewer in the center of the action and gives them full control over camera angles as a recorded event unfolds in a 360-degree wraparound landscape. Using a game controller, the user can look in any direction and see everything happening in all directions.
At E3, Enroute also debuted FirstPerson immersive video footage of Spears in concert. The concert DVD marks Spears\'s first venture into interactive entertainment, and she said in a statement: "I\'m really excited to be the first artist to use Enroute\'s FirstPerson technology. It\'s a great new way of watching a concert."
Spears\'s co-manager Johnny Wright of Wright Entertainment Group added: "We\'ve certainly had several opportunities to bring Britney into the world of interactive entertainment and electronic gaming. But we chose this opportunity because of Enroute\'s immersive video technology, which is giving Britney the chance to lead the way into a new era of home entertainment."
