LOL yer funny, tekken was one of the games that made psOne what it now is, Tekken 3 was the game that showed me that nintendo 64 sucked, it made me buy a psx (later a ps2) all of the tekken sold millions. They have a huge following. Yes this is a huge blow for xbox and Gc, no sc2 no vf4 (not yet!) no tekken 4, they only have their doa3 (boring game) and kabuto X. Smash bros? hahaha LOL LOL, thats the worst I say wost fighting game EVER made! I was just a piece of kiddie crap. Nintendo will have their kiddie games, ps2 and xbox will have mature fighters!

How the hell did a topic about Tekken become a Nintendo bashing thread? What the hell? I\'m sorry, if you don\'t like Nintendo\'s "kiddie" games, I don\'t like all of them either. But, just because they are aimed at a younger audience character wise (Mario,Yoshi,Pickachu), it doesn\'t mean they are not excellent games. And I am also sorry, but I have yet to see something on the PS2 that looks anything like Lugi\'s Mansion graphic wise, the same applies to Dead or Alive 3 for the Xbox.

Now onto the actual point of this thread. Tekken 4. I thought we all already knew that Tekken and Soul Calibur would be on the Ps2. Namco is known for their Sony support. But, if Tekken 4 doesn\'t innovate any, it isn\'t going to be that great. Improved graphics and extra characters can only get you so far. I love the series as much as the next guy, but I need something new.

As for Soul Calibur 2, it stands as the best 3D fighting game, in my personal opinion. I loved Soul Blade for the Psone and I loved Soul Calibur for the Dreamcast.

Oh yeah, and on a final note. Who needs Tekken 4 at all, with Capcom Vs SNK 2 and Virtua Fighter 4 comin\' to the PS2? I sure don\'t.

Have you\'ve seen both games in motion yet? I doubt it.

Also, Smash Bros goes for a more cartoonish look while DOA3 goes for a more realistic look. They are still extremely difficult to compare graphically.

First of all, it definitely doesn\'t "kill" it. While it might look better it doesn\'t blow it awat. SMB has way more characters on screen at once and the characters are just as detailed IMO. DOA3 does have way better backrounds though...

Okay jumpman I\'m going to make it real simple.  You can honestly say what you seen on gamecube blows(graphically) away ps2 and dc?  If you say yes there something wrong with you.  A little better? Maybe in your opinion.  But from what I seen I haven\'t bee blown away thats all.
