We\'ll have more info on these two highly anticipated games, including High-Resolution video of the two games from the show floor. The video does not include gameplay footage, as Namco is being very secretive at the moment, but we have character renders and models as well as new logos from the games ready to go. The video should be uploaded shortly. Until then, stay tuned for further developments!
Talk about a little luck, after hours of walking around E3 we (Catlord, Devil_Kat and Castel) run into Three-11 from fighters.net and he asks us if we saw the Tekken 4 characters. We were stunned as it was the first thing we checked for at the Namco booth. So we ran back to the place to be and waited a good 15 minutes for it to show up on the big overhead screen. What is Namco trying to hide? The very very short Tekken 4 promo only shows up after about 4 or 5 rotations of the big Namco games preview movie, which is the reason we missed it and moved on earlier that day. The sequence starts out with clips from the previous Tekken games and then we see the first character, definitely a new fighter in the line up. From there you see in increasing speed King, Law, Ling, Hwoarang, Paul and finally a guy that looks like an evil incarnation of Kazuya or yet another new fighter. Definitely Mishima family. Since the screen shot move faster and faster he is barely on the screen for a few frames and we were not able to take a picture. Another minor let down is that I cannot download images from Catlord\'s camera and he has perfectly clear shots of King and Law...we\'ll try and snap them tomorrow as well as the other characters and maybe even an mpeg of the complete promo clip.Unlike what videogames.com has reported today, Jin and Heihachi are NOT in the preview movie.Law has a mustache now, leading as to believe it could be Marshall instead of Forest, at least he looks as Marshall did in the PSX Tekken 3 intro movie. Overall the characters don\'t look much older so it is possible we are gonna see Marshall as he looks a tad bit older. Maybe Forest got punished for running off to the Tekken 3 Tournament. All the characters except for the new one have fairly angry looks on their face, even the usually sweet Ling. Stay tuned for more shots tomorrow, if we have to we\'ll camp out there all day waiting for the promo to appear again to attempt to snap images of all the characters shown.
Ignorant says:looks about as good as tekken tag...
