Brief: Yowza! This game is hot! The video of Virtua

Fighter 4 (arcade) at Sega\'s booth looked absolutely jaw-dropping. The video started with a look back at all the previous Virtua Fighter titles. Then starts the VF4 footage and it blows everything before it out of the water. The characters look very life like with awesome facial expressions and body movements. Akira, Wolf, Pai, and Lau were all shown walking around the most detailed fighting backgrounds ever seen. One of the most impressive was Jacky\'s skyscraper background where a helicopter flies in a shines a spotlight over the characters. Another impressive backdrop was the colluseum background. Think VF characters fighting in a huge Gladiator-like colluseum and you\'ll know what I mean. The background also had awesome lightning effects that lit up the entire area.
So how is all this detail going to translate over the Playstation 2? A Sega representative said that he didn\'t get a chance to look at the PS2 port himself but heard that the PS2 version - looks even better. We can\'t wait!

Even better, what the hell, this game is going to rock!!!
On the 15 of March 2002, i was going to leave these forums for good.
But on the 16 of March i realised i couldn\'t ever say bye to you guys, so i am staying here for good!

I thouroughly enjoyed the last Virtua Fighter on the Dreamcast, and with the advent release of Virtua Fighter 4 on the PS2, gamers around the world should be very excited indeed.  While the port to the PS2 was obligatory for Sega, I am a bit dissapointed to hear that, so far, Sega has no plans to port this game to any other system.  I see this as a big mistake by Sega seeing as how many people will be purchasing systems other than the PS2 this holiday season, and those same customers would most likely want to purchase an excellent and well-known fighting game like Virtua Fighter 4.  The X-Box will most likely sell good, but expect Nintendo to sell even more units, firstly becuase it cost 100 dollars less than the X-Box, and secondly because it will have that 3 day head start.  Now, the 100 dollar thing may not seem like a big deal to you, but most people have to work a few hours in order to make that much money.  It will be an important factor this holiday season.  Sony of course will still be selling PS2 like hot cakes this coming holiday season.
Respect your fellow gamers simply because they enjoy playing videogames just like you.

The fight: VF 4  vs. Tekken 4  vs. SC 2
