LOS ANGELES EMay 16, 2001

Sony Computer Entertainment Incorporated (SCEI) has announced today that the new PCStation2 Computer Entertainment System will replace their VAIO brand of computers effective September 2001.  This move comes at a critical time in the company\'s history as they attempt to unify the Sony experience with one black box.  "We feel that if we got 80 million suckers to buy our Playstation, we definitely can sell 80 million of these puppies!", said an excited Kazuo Harai, VP of SCEA.  The PCS2 will incorporate a 40 GB HDD, IEEE 1394, standard USB ports and an LCD monitor.  When questioned about how the PCS2 could split PS2\'s user base, Hirai commented, "We can\'t f*ck up because even if we do f*ck up we still come out on top.  Remember when we blew the smoke up your ass with the 1 million units at launch bullsh!t?  Well, we f*cked up by launching with half of that and we still came out on top!"  

The PCS2 is poised to be begin Sony Corporation\'s new plan to dominate music, movies, business, and games.  "Sony is God, the real battle is for number two when it comes to Microsoft and Nintendo, I believe Sony can\'t lose because they give analysts free Rolexes and vacations, plus a mini-disc player...oops I\'ve said too much," stated Wall Street Journal analyst Richard Rider.  The PCStation is poised to unseat Dell, Compaq, and Gateway as the top PC manufacturers.  "Sony has brand recognition, but enough of that, Nintendo was the sh*t at E3...they had Pikmin, Luigi\'s Mansion, Smash Brothers, they rule!! Nintendo rules!!! Yeah..." stated Tech TV\'s Adam Sessler.  Sony\'s PCStation2 will come bundled with an awesome array of software such as:

  • Linux 3: A-Spec
  • AOL Hardcore
  • Real Player Revolution
  • QuickBooks Solid: Sons of Accountants
  • Turbo Tax and Daxter
  • Netscape Black


The PCStation2 will retail for $2,999.99.  Hirai mentioned that he\'s not concerned with the price since, according to him, "80 million people already have their heads up our ass so we can sell them Kutaragi\'s feces in tin foil and they would buy it."  Sony expects to ship a gazillion units to retailers on September something, 2001.

Back to the topic- 10000$ says DirectX would prefer it if Lorne Lanning was in that picture too. :laughing:
