ok here it is f1 2001 review !

hi mate just checked out the f1 2001 intro and mine is the same mate its just part of the game if u listen i hear it in the left as well but not as much!!! so its just the game mate dont worry!

its a ***** hard of a game is it!!

I hate to blow my own trumpet but even my brother says that if i drove i\'d make a good racing driver.
But as you know doing it in real life is a lot more difficult than bieng in front of a TV with your bum on a chair.

Well, iv\'e given it another couple of hours and tried out the 2plr mode of which i\'m impressed, but overall i must
say that i\'m dissapointed in this game. i\'d still give it 5/10, i rekon i\'ll be off to EB tomorrow to choose something else
I really tried to like this game but it ultimatley falls flat on the driving model. Sorry guys, Whoever is thinking
about buying this please hire it out first. I\'ll see you round.

Yeah, i hear you on that score. you are right, 5 is a little harsh eh? ahh well it\'s in the same ball park.
I was surprised aswell that EB broke the release date, probably someone else in town had done it aswell.
As far a i know people will break the release date if other rival companys do so. They need thier sales dont they.

ViVi, Yes it is worth a rent definatly. You may see it differently than me. I\'m used to the simulation side of
F1, mainly on the PC.

yeah we always sell them a day or 2 early normally 2 regular customers but any one can come in and ask one

Well, iv\'e sat and played it again today and feel much better with the game. getting a good lap in with just clipping
the kurbs is a very satisfying experience. I\'m about 6 races through on the championship and have come 1st on
all of them. Bear in mind i have it on easy setting with traction control enabled etc...
But yes id now give it a 7/10 because its a very satisfying experience to shave time off your previous best lap.

In a previous post you said the handling was comical, being able to turn 90 Degrees and not spin. Pls try it on the hardest level with all the aids off. All the Mags indicate easy + Aids = Arcade and V Hard + All aids off = simulation. Hopefully my copy will turn up 2 morra if u could confirm the handling on difficult with the aids off I\'d be grateful.

This crackling sound everybody\'s going on about in game could it  be the sound of the air rushing by or friction with the track ??, your thoughts.

EM, the sound problems that i indicated were from 2 different circumstances. Firstly the music on the Pre-rendered
footage i.e. the intro and credits movies were very poor. the sound in the right hand speaker sounds like they
recorded the input way too loud making it sound distorted (I write my own music & stuff using samplers and
sequencers so i\'m in knowledge of what goes on). Secondly the sound in the game on some of the cars is quite
\'Scratchy\' you do get used to it after a while. I\'ll try later to turn off all the aids and i\'ll post my finds for you.
i\'ll be back later.

The Music does sound distorted, even on the demo DVD on PSW but as long as the in-game stuff is O.K. it doesn\'t really matter. I look forward to your handling comments.

Really, you\'re playing on easy?

For others, here\'s a tip I recommend:
Play on easy to see if you like the game, and if you do, go straight to the hardest level. It\'s the only way to learn. Trust me, I\'ve done it for many games and it does pay dividends.

eg, ISS Pro evo. On easy, it was kinda medium, then I went to hard, and found it a lot tougher. Now, since playing it for 6-7 months, I\'m able to win the world cup with japan on hard.

So go (to) Hard, or go home!

honestly mate hard is HARD easy = HARD !!!!
