Externally - no, internally - perhaps. However by that definition, the Pentium can be described as being two processors (main processing unit + fpu).

Thats true and the real funny thing is that 99 percent of the people on this board say the xbox sucks because of the Pentium III.

Also in order to get the 6 gigaflops of floating point power, you have to have the vector units working at the same time in unison for the PS2.

Sony loves to lie, cheat, threaten, and fake all the time.  Everyday I hear about Sony is everyday I get more discusted with them.

Sony is so immoral, they make Microsoft look like a saint, if Sony was based in the USA instead of japan, there would be anti-trust lawsuits going on.  

Sorry, don\'t mean to offend you folks, just saw sony taking bleem out of the stores like they did with Microsoft\'s xbox promos and of course saying things like "Xbox will fail" and consumers have lost confidence in xbox, etc..... Sony sucks big time...

I went to E3 this year and sony doesn\'t have room to talk.  I went to E3 last year again no room to talk, at launch, no room to talk...

The xbox is very PC like Sony says, but sony is too stupid to understand that they just approved AOL, flash, realplayer, and Netscape for their PS2 computer, not to mention basic and a printer, camera, usb ports etc....

Well, you could of been alittle bit more delicate with that..


But, yeah you have a point. The hardware is a tool. Nothing more.

You have.

The hardware.
The compiler.
The programming libary files.
The documentation.

But the programmers are the ones who actually make something. Not the hardware. It is like building a house. You have lumber, nails, etc. But in the end, it is up to the designer to make sure the house is stable / looks good/ etc.

Did that analogy make any sense?
