Metal Gear E3 Screens

PlayStation 2: We\'ve got the latest screens from Hideo

Kojima\'s E3 showing of the hotly anticipated PS2 title, Metal Gear Solid 2.

Still slated to be released this fall in Japan and the U.S, creator Hideo Kojima has now gone underground until the title is finished. The PS2 title is set to retail for $49.99. The game has now been given a solid date of Nov. 13 in North America.

Following the latest look of the game at last week\'s E3, Kojima has decided to go underground in order to complete the game in time for a winter 2001 release.

Hmmmmmmmmm.....this may hurt xbox and gamecube sales.    I must get this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i dont know how much it would hurt sales, its a week after their launches... hopefully this game wont get lost in the hype in tons of commercials for the box and cube!

I pre-ordered MGS2 in May 2000 at GameStop. There is one thing that really bugs me, Hideo says MGS2 is about the same length of MGS1. Yes. I know.

that\'s not that bad..... I love games that are fast..... simply because I hate thinking of how much I have to do to beat a certain game...... When the game is faster then there is a lot of action packed together in one bundle...... So it\'s a constant adrenaline rush! Which I happen to love! :D

I\'m actually glad it\'s the same length.  If you explored MGS carefully, it took a while.  I don\'t think anything but an (true) RPG game should ever take more than 15-20 hours, cause for the most part, I\'ll end up not finishing them.  But, as always, there are exceptions.

Hmm, maybe I\'ll get that as a b-day present, then I can pay for MGS2 myself and play it (I\'ll probably be ignoring my X-Box for the 2-3 months after I get MGS2....)

I guess I don\'t mind it going fast.  If it went slow then everyone might complain about it.  Lets hope it wont be a dissapointment.  It won\'t be. ;)
