Don\'t let the red faction demo stop you from buying the finished game!

Well I don\'t own the game but I have played the finshed version for an hour and it rocks. Much better than the demo which sucked badly. So if the demo left a bad taste in your mouth just pretend the demo never existed cause the finished game is so much better. I\'ll be picking this game up next week on June 1st since I\'ll ahve the money then:) Also the reviews for this game have averaged out to about 90%/100% it\'s a great game.

I\'m not a fan of this game I am afraid.
The controls are Timesplitter reminiscent, something I always couldnt stand in TS. All they had to do was make it at least BE ABLE to have Mdeal of Honor\'s God like control system. THey didn\'t even include it as an option.

Also the guns in the game are completely pointless.

I wouldn\'t recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of traditional PC FPS\'s, this one I am afraid jsut doesnt cut it.

PS - It was fun for about the first couple days, then I promptly returned it to Babbages and got some Maracas for Samba.

Your an idiot, the multiplayer is awesome, timesplitters control system was the best ever on console and the one player is as good or better than Half-Life

I am sorry Bozco, obviously i have done something that offended you, otherwise you wouldnt have insulted me. Maybe when you actually go out and play some of the PC FPSs out there, you will realize that some of the are better, like i said. I feel like MoH controls are the best am I somehow wrong because I feel that way? When you get older, you will figure out how to structure your repsonses so that, even if you make fun of the person, you can back it up with know how and facts.

I also acknowledged being ABLE to change the controls, I am not an idiot. But you cannot make the D-Pad be your moving part and left analog be your aiming.

The only idiot here is the one who can\'t control his opinions, but I guess everything on a SOny system is Godlike, eh Bozco?

my friends think the game is awesome but we hate the control system - i hate being forced to use both analog sticks

but you can get used to the controls though - and once you do that the game is so cool

I can get used to them. I think the play mechanics in the game are very cool. I love digging a tunnel in a wall, hie out and shoot my buds as they go by. but I need non-dual analog control for my peak enjoyment. Otherwise, it ends up like MDK2, good game, but controls I can\'t get into.

Well I don\'t know the framerate was horrible even the sounds were off by a few seconds. But yeah the finshed version pretty much fixed all of that.

hmmm... i\'m really not sure if i should get this one or not.  do you suggest this game for none FPS hardcore dudes like me?

I just got the demo today and the framerate and sound is a bit crappy, am i right in thinking this is different in the final version. Is it a game worth shelling out for?
