Vote off Weakest Linke (Round 4) ends Tues.

Well before I go any further I\'d like to say, the response was mediocre.  Better than last time, but not by much.

Gohan\'s Response[/u]

I believe that the water is more contaminated. Going by taste alone the water would taste different but the milk would not.

Weltall\'s Response[/u]

The answer is, the water is less contaminated than the milk. The milk that was used to contaminate the water has already been contaminated with water.

At this point ooseven responded, which puzzles me because he is not even in the game, weird.

kopking\'s Response[/u]

lets call the one with water 1, the milk 2. 1 will be more containated, it will change colour, go all misty, and not be transparent, taste horrible. while the milk will hardly change, same colour, texture, hardly be any thinner, still be able to drink it.

faithdies\'s Response[/u]

The milk contains more water.
Since milk already comes with some mixture of H20, it had water before you added any.
Especially if it was half and half or 2%.

Now here is the fun part.  No one got the right answer, EVERYONE WAS TRICKED THIS ROUND, you should all lose.  I\'m suprised some of the wiser contestants couldn\'t get this one.

The Answer[/u]

They are both equally contaminated. The water contains exactly as much milk as the milk contains water. The most elegant proof for this celebrated little puzzle is as follows: It does not matter how many transfers are made between the glasses or whether the contents are stirred. Provided that the volumes in the two glasses are equal, then any water in the water glass must be in the milk, there is nowhere else it can be. The milk that it has replaced must be in the water glass. The water glass therefore contains as much milk as the milk contains water.

TIME TO VOTE OFF THE WEAKEST LINK!!!!

(we will be down to 6 after this round)

they may be the same amount contaiminated, but it will have more of an effect on the water once milk is added on it

No first, usually the people who don\'t give answers get voted off, if theres more than one, the person they don\'t like, then if they all give answers... well that never happened so I don\'t know, we should get to that point soon though.
