Again, what do you consider GC to be, if xbox is a flop?

They\'re not different. Sony is offering a nothing online plan with dial up, no servers or support.  How can anyone charge for this?

Yea, GC is the biggest flop of the group.  Xbox is new to the area and they are doing alright but GC is doing worse and its a verteran of the gaming industry.

Gamecube has a much better library of games, and future titles ahead of it. Alot of people have just lost faith in Nintendo, as people did in Sega. Whenever a new system comes out and seems to do well people flock to it. (i.e. Super Nintendo in the 16-bit wars)

A much better library of games?  lol.  Yes N is looking a lot like Sega, and what happened to them.

What are the global sales for both consoles?  I would have thought that the GCN would have had more sales in other countries.. and its only 400,000 or so behind in the US..

meh

GTA3 was originally planned for release on the Xbox, but an exclusive deal with Sony will keep GTA off any other console.

I see it like this from the developers stand point,

Xbox user base = 3.7 Mil

PS2 user base = 50+ Mil

Even if GTA3 was on the Xbox with better graphics, if I was the developers I wound stay with Sony.  More user = $$$.

what...happened to...pstwo?

is scared

EDIT:  Nobody said the developers had to choose sides...GTA series=cash cow.  Anywhere they want to take it, they will more than make up for costs...

PS2 userbase is actually somewhere around 30 million

Yes I would understand if Rockstar decided to make it exclusive on PS2. But Im sure Sony had some sort of a reward for them. Something formed like a hat.. I can see it, its green.
