I have Win 98. Man I can\'t wait to get a new computer with XP or the next OS. I\'m probably even going to split the hard drive and put on Linux and use that as the standard OS and just use Windows for games and whatever else. But as for the graphics on 98, I still have the boring grey and blue color scheme. I so want to change it to something cool.

Actually it came with an installer. Doubleclick, wait 20 secs and tadaa - it\'s done. Doubleclick it again if you wanna get the old uxtheme back.

Installing themes is easy. Just doubleclick on it (or choose it from the monitor properties or whatever it\'s called).

Ah nice. I searched google and came up with some page explaining how to hack it manually with a hex editor :) hehe. That kinda threw me off...

Could you pm me a link to the installer you used please?

I use Coolmon. Others use Samurize (more "graphical").

Thanks dood!  I\'d be more than happy to unistall StyleXP as it does grab some resources and slow down bootup.  Can I still use the styles from ThemeXP with Coolmon?

yep, all that StyleXP really does is crack the uxtheme.dll, I find that applying styles manually is easier than doing it through StyleXP and gives you more control.

Did you use stylebuilder to build your current desktop setup nO-One?

I see you\'ve combined a couple of themes (or at least I recognise the icons from one theme and the window style theme from another)  so I was wondering how you did that.

I used Stylebuilder to modify the theme, changed the start bar, start menu and a few other things.

The icons are called Gant and I just built an iconpackager file around them, and then I did the background myself.
