...who got tired of the flashy graphics in XP and defaulted back to the Win 2000 style?

And I must say I like it a lot better.

I like the XP colours and graphics. I thought the old style was a bit boring.

I\'m a XP man.. Like using style XP. Prefer to have my own style.. Then a M$ one.

The level of customization is neat but the standard xp look drives me crazy. Im all for the old school look.

I haven\'t messed with mine at all. I had style xp before, but then it cancelled on me because I didn\'t buy it. I\'ve never messed with it since.

i use style xp... i find the 2k look extremely boring.

I hade luna, bored of the 2k look.
So a modded uxtheme.dll (stylexp sucks) and a few styles of choice make my desktop a fun boy.

I did :
control panel > performance & maintenance > adjust visual fx >
only picked a. common tasks in folders and b. visual style on windows+buttons. colour is metal chrome. this set up benefits
performance while keeping xp visual style.

Why does StyleXP suck? Doesn\'t seem to take up a lot of resources and doesn\'t mess everything up like for instance Stardock Object Desktop.

I think it causes my OS to load a lot slower. Could be other things though.
