I\'m more interested in that porno Watchdog mentioned.

What was it called?

:p
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

I don\'t care what you guys say--it is bad for the industry.  It gives it a bad image.  VGs are already beleaguered in the main stream media, crap like this and xxx Motocycle games are not going to help the matter.

Plus, I\'d hate it if all devs resorted to this kind of childishness.  It sullies the hobby.  I would like VGs to one day be a respected form of entertainment and not relegated to kid\'s stuff as it is now.

Crap like this reinforces the message that VGs are meant for immature, adolescent boys.  It\'s not in the spirit of VGs that this game was made.  It\'s a cash grab.

I like breasts as much as the next guy, but around here the next guy doesn\'t sleep beside real ones so he must seek them in video games.  It\'s sad.  Rent a movie or get a girlfriend and you find pixels and polygons so damn attractive.

:facelick: Hugs Ginko, I feel your pain.

Watch, at one time I would of agree\'d with you on this hurting the industry but I don\'t believe it will now. When Sega started catering to the teen market, they set out a new generation. Sony picked it up and started to cater towards the more mature audience. The fact is, plenty of adults buy games now . If they didn\'t, we wouldn\'t have an industry that brings more money in than the movie industry. The only people games like this will upset is the senators, overly-religious and those who think we should censor the market . I for one say we don\'t censor. I say we throw a label on it that says it is for mature gamers, ID the buyer and then let it out on the market. If sex sells the game, that\'s fine. That is the point of any industry, to sell a product. And the simple fact is, you even realize this.

And finally, the amazing thing is people like you are throwing a fit about the sexual themes (even tho\' some are indirect) but you don\'t complain about the excessive amounts of violence in some games. I don\'t know, but I\'m a lot more worried about some game where the whole premise is to kill, gettin\' into some wacko teens hands, more so than a volleyball game with bikini clad girls.

And we all thank you for stating that for the zillionth time, not to mention adding such thought into the discussion at hand - DOA:EXtreme Volleyball, in case you didn\'t read any of the posts . Or was you just trying to get the thread back on topic, which is suppose to be DOA4, but hasn\'t been since Ooseven posted the DOA:EV picture earlier in this thread?

I\'m not talking about censorship, I\'m talking about public perception.  Movies are an acceptable form of entertainment.  They have tv shows dedicated to them, they are reported about on the news, newspapers, etc.  VG news is pushed away from the mainstream, just like toys, because it\'s looked on as juvenile.

DOAVB, isn\'t helping this matter.

Well as it as stated before with Tecmo trying to bring DOA to the most advanced platform each yeah well....why does every major developer ignore the pc!!!!!!!  It would be so much easier to play all the cool games if they\'re on a pc cuz just about everyone has one I mean if they released goldeneye on the pc I\'d buy it in a heartbeat.

Who told bob he was king of fighters? I loved doa3 beats vf4 anytime. Only good 3d fighter on ps2 is tekken.
