Is the framerate that bad!!  It\'s a shame.  Oh well back to Halo 2.  If someone can convince me to buy Killzone, please tell me that the framerate is decent! Also tell me the A.I is good, I have been looking forward to this game for along time.  It\'s too bad the reviews have been bad.

The game is very scripted and i dont think you\'ll find many itelligent bots. Im not too sure about the framerate, because ive only played the demos but everything else you wanted to know about seems mediocre.

Maybe its worth the rent but other than that it seems unlikely that its worth a purchase.

Why would the framerate for MGS3 be taken down to 30fps?

The framerate isn\'t that bad, the game is still playable.  It does get choppy and sluggish quite often, and it has affected some of my shots.

The A.I. is laughable, bordering on ridiculous.  It does get slightly better when you put it on hard though.

The atmosphere the game creates is almost great, but it\'s junked up by the frequent tearing and the LOD system which reacts far too slowly.  The character animations are awful.

Okay, so I just trashed the game but I want you to know that I\'m still wanting to play more of it, so there is some fun to be had despite the problems.  Definitely worth a rental.

It\'s a shame Guerrilla didn\'t push this off a little farther and address all these issues, it really could have been something special.  I\'ll be checking out the sequel...

That\'s what I was just thinking. Just watching that video Fastson showed looks great. And if they had have delayed the game again to improve it..

Hopefully the sequal will be something special.

Certain games can run fine at 30fps, without a big difference.
Some can\'t.

It really isn\'t all that hard.

Racing games and FPS both benefit from the extra FPS. They also are two of the genres that take the biggest hit if the frame rate isn\'t a constant. What is so hard to understand?

I might pick it up.  The game has a total war atmosphere, they should have delayed it and fixed the bugs.  I think I\'ll pick it up.  There\'s no reason why they should of rushed it because of Halo 2.  I probably will enjoy it.

The framerate runs at a steady 120 and the AI is incredible. I mean if I throw a grenade they\'ll pick it up and toss it back at me! Sometimes they even take bullets for eachother and have amazing accuracy. They also cover their back very well. The game is amazing! You should definetely go buy it.

Happy? :)

Is it me? Or does PSone own all the other systems?

The more I\'m playing the game the more flaws I\'m seeing.

The squad based missions could have really taken this to another level of gameplay, however, for the most part, the friendly A.I. is useless.  They get in my way more often than they help.  Running into open fire, not helping to secure a room but rather wait for me to do it myself, and it just doesn\'t feel like a real team in a war because they do some really stupid shit.

The enemies are far too accurate with their shots, I\'m finding that they rarely miss, even at great distances.

The target goes red over an enemy but it doesn\'t mean you\'ll hit them.  I\'m also finding it hard to make headshots, the kickback on the weapons make this especially hard, most of the time sending your bullets everywhere except the center of the target.

Zolar, I highly recommend renting it first before you drop $40-50 on it.

SHIT!  The game shows so much promise.  I wish they would have delayed the game!  Why did they have to release the game close to Halo 2!  I\'m gonna rent it first.  I buy games that get a 7 or more, I don\'t expect perfection like many gamers demand.  I remember EGM gave Gran Turismo 2 perfect 10\'s.  I rushed out to buy it and was totally disappointed.  The Graphics were kinda crap, pixels, framerate, etc.  I hope I enjoy Killzone and eventually buy it.  I have all the consoles and I would place the PS2 and XBOX as excellent gaming consoles, Gamecube has been a little lacking in the gaming department.  I am excited about Jak3, and Ratchet&Clank U.Y.A.  So overall I\'m a happy gamer.
