no..john doe dies because he is envious..then read me and LIC\'s conversation for wrath. You\'re explanation contradicts the whole point of his murders.

thats why freeman kept saying "DONT SHOOT.HE WANTS YOU TO" because he wanted to die for being envious.

but the seven sins were supposed to kill people because of them, not do the killing. Gluttony died from eating, lust died from boning, sloth died from being strapped down and not able to do anything. Then it all of a sudden switches to the sin (envy) doing the killing doesnt make sense to me cuz its different from the other 5.

the whole point of his murders were for people to learn not do do the seven sins. But with ur explanation it sounds like envious people will die from the 7th sin of wrath. at least if the end would be just as planned out as his other 5 murders.

Detective Mills became Wrath - we know that. He punished him for ENVY.

As for the comment on envy - one can\'t die from envy. It was the actions that caused the death. That is just like any of the other members. The actions brought on the death, in some form.

Maybe it was a plot hole. Or maybe it was the fact that when John Doe did have envy , he knew he had to pay the price. So , he set it up, so that Mills would kill him and he , himself would be punished. Yes, that leaves Mills with the WRATH sin - but that wouldn\'t concern John Doe, due to the fact he is dyin\' for his own deadly sin.

As for my avatars...Like I am goin\' to listen to a gay-ass Green Latern avatar and the ohh-so-cliche\' blinkin\' Tool eye.
