This info was taken from... well, read the link. It\'s legal and official. It doesn\'t matter how many PS2 sites don\'t like it. I\'m sure the references were removed on IGN cause MS said  they weren\'t ready to break the news, it was supposed to be a E3 thing.

Now animal, stop being a bad fanboy.  Interplay didn\'t have the money to include online play for the PS2 and GC and therefore the features wouldn\'t have been included in them anyways.  However, Microsoft LOANED them $5 million dollars to add the feature (and then some) but the only stipulations were that Microsoft had 6 months exclusivity and that none of that $5 million dollars could be used to add the same features to the PS2 and the GC games.  Why isn\'t that reasonable.  If I were Microsoft (or any other company) I\'ll be damned if you use MY MONEY to develop MY COMPETITOR\'S games.  What MS did was SMART and GOOD BUSINESS.  If you argue this fact, animal, you are saying that Microsoft should loan Interplay money to make PS2 and Xbox games as good as the Xbox version.  Does that sound reasonable to you?  Does that sound reasonable to anyone?  That would be nice of Microsoft to do so, but no one gets to the top by being nice.

Damn, seems like a case of sour grapes in here!  You people seem to have some really severe selective memory because you can\'t seem to remember a little game called Golden Eye.  That game was kinda good...  What distinguishes a good movie-based game from a bad one is the developer and Shiny is developing The Matrix game.  They have a pretty, er, Shiny track record if you ask me.
