yeah rubin tends to do that, i got somthing off the ign boards that had him flaunting about his console... he is too full of himself and naughty dog, just cuz they have ties with sony dosent mean a thing to us gamers, but it apparently does to him:)

It is not about console vs console or game vs game (I may very well buy the game if it is good), it is just about seeing Rubin back-peddle on his numerous, hopelessly arrogant statements.

Bravo!!! Very well-said Hoj3, that\'s pretty much the nature of this thread. in others words i posted this thread for those whom know of rubin well and his little comments. It was never about which game is better etc.., instead to put the spot light on rubin so that people could see him put his foot right in his mouth.

Hey who knows the game could turn out to be decent, but i will **** my paints and jump off a building if he get\'s that game running at 19mpps with all effects on.

Can we please make peace over this after all no one like a flame war after all.

i think its safe to say that we all have fallen for Hype and bias in one form or another.........

I have read Rubin\'s claims, and thought about the movie that they posted, and I have come to the conclusion that that movie is not from the most updated version of their game.  Rubin hyped it a lot.  I don\'t think anyone is stupid enough to hype it up that much without actually pulling through.

This E3 I am expecting a better looking version of the game, and definately better quality movies and pics.

And if I\'m wrong, bring on Tekken 4, MK5, VF4, and DOA3!

True, but if Rubin can\'t deliver what he has promist, i think he should do a Forfeit in front of everyone at E3.

Personally, I don\'t have faith in Naughty Dog. Don\'t get me wrong, I think the Crash games was excellent and I am a huge fan of the series, but other then that, they have done NOTHING to prove they are capable of pulling of a new generation game. And the Crash series was not the most original ideas, lets face it. It was rather basic and even Rubin knew that. There is no doubt they was addicitive, but still, that doesn\'t prove they are ready to step up to the plate .

From what I saw, I was not impressed. But, at the same time, this is very poor quality video and I truly doubt Rubin is goin\' to show us the good stuff with E3 so close. Instead, he is using this merely as hype. So, there is still good reason to believe that E3 will hold awesome footage of "Project Y".

But, on a note. If "Project Y" does look bad, then Rubin is going to find himself being fired at from everyone. After the nasty comments he has went and made constantly, he won\'t be able to claim that it was because of PS2 programming difficulties or what not.

E3 better hold some awesome footage, otherwise its going to be a big problem for Sony and Naughty Dog.

Everything I could make out in the vid was looking pretty cool

I assume a "tease" is meant to be just that and fully expect the ND team to back up Jason Rubin\'s big mouth within the next few days. The only ones who will be disappointed are those hoping to see Rubin fall flat on his face.

I knew it would suck all along, i never gave in to the hype, I have always thought naughty dog was a crappy developer
