If this is the best that Jason RUBIN can do, then i\'m laughing my ass off, That guy was bragging about how top secret his game was, hyping it all up to be this killer app, and what do we have a sheer dissapointment.

LOL NVIDIA256, lets wait until this E3 until we get some real gameplay footage of the game instead of that teaser that Naughty Dog put up.  They probably don\'t want to show everything just yet or they wouldn\'t have anything for E3 (like 182Ways said on the main forum).

And if it does turn out to be a huge disappointment, I\'m just glad I wasn\'t one of those PS2 fanboys.

No kidding.  I want to make sure I get a good idea of what the game so my poor 56k is smoking out the ears over this 50meg file. :/

it\'s only like 9.7 megs but the download time is slow man.

That is the dinky grainy one.  After all that Jason Rubin has said against the Xbox and Oddworld I want to get a clear picture of what his game is and see just how well he can back up is yapping (ohh... a unintentional pun!) therefore I get to struggle over the huge file.

IGN has them uploaded onto their server, so you can download them faster from there.

While the video quality wasn\'t good, the game looked nice. Seems to have a Rayman/Munch sorta look to it... which isn\'t a bad thing. I love platformers....

It\'s Still an earily movie of the game after all.....

You know games don\'t start of looking great you know , all games go through what is known as a DEVELOPMENT cycle.

this is where an idea is placed and a games engine is developend as well as story and additional material (sound Motion capture etc....)

from this we move slowly onto play testing the earily code with in house play testers ....

Feed back is supplyed from the play tresting and gameplay is tweeked......

the next stage once the BASICs are completed is the addition and refinement of grapichs, animation and sound.

again at the end of this stage its handed over to the play testers and feed back is used.........

now either aT this stage or BEFORE details of the game is leaked to the PRess, in this cas seeingthat it is a ....

we are seeing the earily stages of development, with basic graphics and sound, this is where the concept of the game is being developed before the addition of all the aspects that we see within the game.........


now i know i am not here at the Forum 24 hours but i have to say that people here have been INTRESTED in this game and have not be fooled by (to use your poor words ) HYPE......

Please Please take this to HEART because if you continue to post tile this you will be given the Troll Status and maybe even banned.

WOW  you sure like to shoot yourself in the foot. Oh so many where waving and screaming how this naughty dawg game was going to be so awesome. And the first footage of the game is not  that impressive. And what do you say. It\'s Still an earily movie of the game after all..... Oh nobody could  say that when you where taking shots at microsoft TGS line up of games.  Oh it\'s early in development. It is ok to use that excuse for a ps2 game, but oh no show a ms game that is 20% done and not even on final hardware and that game sucks before it is even finished. Then ps2 shows a game and it ok because it is not even done. Just another double standard set bye a video game fanboys. (excuse me ps2 fanboys)

I totally don\'t get your standards.  You though that this trailer looked nice?  With the exception of the smoke effect, the whole thing was pretty ****ty, and I hope a very early build.

You know, I think maybe Ethugg posts the opposite point of view from the title of the post, no matter what the subject content is.

I have to disagree with you on that one. In just about every thread in which an Xbox or Nintendo zealot downed the PS2 lineup lots of people would mention Naughty Dog\'s "secret" game as an upcoming AAA title in the same breath as MGS2. Now I am not saying thet it will be a bad game or anything but most of the people were fooled by the hype. You can\'t call a game a future AAA w/o ever seeing one screenshot. That is just how it goes. Even w/ MGS2 and Shenmue there were at least videos and screenshots out before people started calling them one of God\'s gifts to gaming.

some informants have said thatthe game is now running at 19mpps... a feat to behold..and that naughty dog wants to have the game running at 21 mpps while at60FPS... if this turns out to be true....i want it.

i bet sony gave them hints on how to use their system... i think that would be like the only way this early to push that many polygons. jeez... technology is crazy.!!
